Hello, Club Members:

Today was a little unusual. We flew twenty-one flights, but a single member flew seventeen of those flights. Jim D. flew multiple pattern flights and a rope break while preparing for his first solo flight. Not only did Jim fly his first solo, he flew two more solos, too. Congratulations, Jim! Bob A. and I each flew once in the early afternoon. We both found some nice lift and we each flew a thirty-minute flight. Jeff F. flew two flights in his 1-26 glider; once for thirty-five minutes and once for an hour and ten minutes. Jeff said the lift was amazing and that he had to use full spoilers along with slipping the glider in order to get down to pattern altitude. Frank M. did the towing and Steve R. instructed.

It was another gorgeous spring day. We’re happy to have days like this!
