Real nice afternoon, with 9 flights.  Jim C. was up first with Steve R. as instructor, for his safety flight.  Then Steve and Dan went up fort a short CAP/check flight.  Next was Dan with Jake followed by Dan giving Jake’s younger sister, Jenny, a ride and she really liked it.  Jake did a solo, the longest in the L23 today at 36 minutes.  Larry Morgan stopped by and got his safety flight done.  We launched Jay in his Russia followed by me then Bob A.  Jay had the longest at 42 minutes.  There was some great lift, but small thermals, sometimes pegging the needle up and down.  The problem was the downs lasted much longer than the short ups, LOL.  A challenging day and soooo much fun!
