Hello, OSCI Members:

It was a little chilly today, but there was good lift! A little sun on the bare farm fields works wonders! Most of today’s flights (not the pattern tows) reached between six to seven thousand feet in altitude. In total, we flew eighteen flights plus pulled the L-23 over to Skywerx twice. The shock strut on the L-23 was low, so we took it over to Skywerx to add nitrogen to it.

Bob C., Steve R., and Jaime A. flew their annual Safety Flights. Jeff F. flew two flights in his 1-26, and Bob C. took his Russia glider up for an hour-long flight. Myself, Bud S., and Bob A. each flew a solo flight. Jim D. did two flights with Steve and Matt R. did seven solo pattern tows. Frank did all the towing.

Have a good week. Hope to see you at KBTA soon!

Tom
