Hi All,
.
Today was a fairly quiet day, perhaps because Nebraska was playing football. We flew six CAP flights to start the day, and then nine club flights after noon. Bob A. and I flew the ‘Back to Service’ flight, after the maintenance check on the L-23’s elevator. Steve flew a flight lesson with both Will M. and Lexy H., and then flew three pattern flights with Ryan K. Dave L., Bob A. and I each took the L-23 up looking for some hard-to-find lift. There wasn’t much to find today! We seem to have turned the corner from summer to fall weather. It’s cooler and much less humid. As the local crops are harvested, the open fields should be warmed up by the sun, which should generate some good thermals. We’re all ready for some Fall soaring!

Frank did the towing today.

Thanks all.
