Hi All,
We were hopping today, with another twenty-one flights completed! We also soloed new student Matt R – congratulations, Matt! To fly with us, Matt and his wife Denise ‘commute’ from Red Oak, Iowa in their Cessna 210. Also, Bud S earned his aerotow endorsement with a solo flight in the L-23. Bud already has his private pilot’s license, plus he owns a self-launching motor glider. He needed the aerotow endorsement and now he has it – congratulations, Bud! Eighteen flights were flown in the L-23 and three were flown in the 2-22. The last flight landed one minute before sunset – what a great day! Frank M did the towing and Steve R did the instructing.
