After the ground school we moved to the hangers to discuss the possibility of flying even with the low ceilings. At that time, ceilings were being reported about 2000’ AGL. After some discussion we decided to fly since we had two instructors and two willing students. We launched off RW 31 and landed back on 13 as the winds were mainly cross and slightly behind 31. Jamie flew with Tom S. and did a turnaround with Bob Arant. Whit then did the same with both students. We got to about 3500 to 3800 on the altimeter which was time enough to practice some basic maneuvers. Flight times were in the 15 minute range. Steve Stevens did all the towing. I’ll look for some flying days this week and keep you posted.
