Hi, all:
We flew 14 sorties on a hot and humid July day. The weather is exactly what we expect in eastern Nebraska in July! The winds were mostly from the south, so we operated from the north end of the field. This always requires more effort, plus the restroom is about 1/2 mile away. Today’s sorties:
- Joe C. flew a flight lesson with Steve R. instructing.
- Adam P. flew a flight with Steve riding along, and then flew two solo pattern flights.
- Liam S. took two friends for rides in the 2-22. Later in the afternoon, Liam flew a quick pattern flight and landed at the south end of the runway, to make putting the 2-22 away for the day easier.
- Bob A. flew a flight in the L-23 with Will M. riding along.
- Bud S. took the L-23 up for a flight, and had the longest flight of the day at 39 minutes.
- Steve flew a Mile High paid ride.
- Jeff F. took ‘The Gadget’ for a flight.
- Will flew a solo pattern flight.
- Dave L. did another familiarization flight from the rear seat of the L-23, with Steve riding along.
- Ryan K. took Trevor F. along for the hangar flight.
Frank did the towing today.
Regards,
OSCI
