Hello, all:

Today was another day with quiet skies.  We only completed 8 sorties, all of which were no more than 20 minutes in length:

  • Steve R. flew a 17-minute flight in the L-23.  Later in the day, he also flew a paid ride.
  • Student pilot Jose C. flew two flight lessons with Eric H.
  • Warren P. flew his Annual Safety Flight and then a second flight with Eric.
  • Steve flew a paid ride.
  • Eric flew a paid ride, and then took his son Ethan for a ride.

That was it for the day.  We know that May is the best month for soaring in eastern Nebraska, and we try to fly when the weather allows, even if they’re only sled rides.

Frank did the towing today – thank you, Frank!
