Hello, all:
It was yet another quiet day for soaring, with only eight sorties flown. All the 3,000′ tows resulted in no flights greater than 20 minutes, so it was a good day for student flights and paid rides:
- Steve R. flew two ‘Mile High’ paid rides. One flight lasted 31 minutes and the other 30 minutes.
- Student pilot Sean F. flew a flight lesson with Steve.
- Student pilot Jose C. flew a flight lesson with Steve.
- Dave L. flew a solo flight in the L-23.
- Mark B. flew a simulated rope break with Steve riding along, plus a second flight that was towed to 3,000′ AGL for practice. Mark will soon take his first flight in the 1-26B that he’s a co-owner of.
- Bud S. flew a solo flight in the L-23.
Frank did the towing today – thanks Frank!
